Camaçari, Bahia, Brazil – November 01, 2019 – Sérgio Marins Neves (BRA) and Halyfax Pullman won the Grand Prix last Saturday during the 14th Estoril Cup JL Sítio Chuín in Brazil.
The 14th edition of one of the most renowned equestrian competitions in South America awarding a total of R$ 220,000. Once again, the horse show was hosted by Josenilton Oliveira Santos Neves and his daughter, Lívia Mendonça Neves, also counting with the illustrious presence of Brazil’s Chef d’Equipe Philippe Guerdat and world-class course designing by Marina Azevedo (BRA).

Sérgio Marins became a three-time champion of the most important class there aboard the 12-year-old Brazilian Sport Horse (Cassini II x Goodtimes), overcoming all the obstacles in the 1.40m challenge and registering no penalties in 42.58 seconds for the victory.
Rodrigo Lima (BRA) and Toscane Estoril JL Sítio Chuín were the runners-up, the only difference being their time of 44.03 seconds.
Olympic rider Stephan Barcha (BRA) and Calida rounded out the top three with no penalties and a time of 44.10 seconds.
Besides being a great host, Lívia Mendonça Neves (BRA) also showed her skills aboard Miss Potter Estoril JL Sítio Chuin, finishing in fourth place with no penalties and a time of 50.88 seconds.
